Get ready for your dumpling party
Here's all the information you need for an upcoming experience.
What to Expect: We'll meet in the lobby of 555 Fulton Street starting 5 minutes before our scheduled start time, ending around 3 hours later. (It's best to start on time as folks get hangry if we get delayed!) After intros, we'll do a soy sauce tasting and make dumplings from scratch using organic, local ingredients. Food will be on the table around 2 hours after we begin.
Five minutes before our start time, I'll be waiting in the lobby in an apron to greet and bring you up to my kitchen where we'll begin. If you come early, you may knock on the door to let the door person know you'll wait inside the lobby for me, Eddie Lo.

How to Ride: The 5 Muni bus drops off on McAllister and Laguna, while the Civic Center BART or Muni stations are a 10 minute walk away.
Where to Park: Please see parking information for Hayes Valley if you plan on driving.
Substitutions: Please let me know if you'd like any dietary substitutions for pork stuffing with at least 48 hours notice.
Any non-pork eaters will be having organic tofu, spinach and mushroom-based stuffing. Regrettably, it is not possible to make gluten-free dumpling wrappers.
What to wear: We're making dumpling skins from scratch using flour and water. I will provide aprons, though I recommend wearing something that you're ok with getting some flour on.
What to drink: For beverages, I offer a Chardonnay or a Pinot Noir from France or Napa Valley at $30 each (rotating selection, feel free to inquire about options). Let me know ahead of time if you'd like to order any beverages, which can be paid via cash or Venmo.

Please note the rescheduling / cancellation policy requires changes 7 days before the session. You may email Eddie at eatingwithedmund@gmail.com to review options.
The experience is fully refundable 7 days before the experience date. You are welcome to transfer your seats to others at any time before the experience starts. Rescheduling within 7 days of the event incurs an additional charge of $30 per person. Rescheduling requests will not be accommodated with less than 24 hours notice. Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made to this policy: Preparation for the experience starts several days in advance, and these policies help to partially offset the loss of ingredients and labor that cannot be recouped so close to the reservation.
Unfortuantely, young guests under 15 years old are unable to join the class. There are private classes that are available that would be more approriate for younger guests. Please email Eddie if you have questions about this, or would like to be refunded (this option is available for 24 hours of booking time).
