Soy Sauce Glazed Cod
This soy-glazed fish preparation is a classic: steamed fish drizzled with soy sauce, sizziling hot oil and garnished with green onions and ginger for some bitter and spice. The fish also pairs perfectly with bok choy and shiitake mushrooms, and can be made quickly for an incredibly delicious weeknight meal.Ingredients
- 4 fillets of cod (or any flakey white fish), or whole fish, preferably purchased live
- 2 tablespoons Liv Cook Eat Delicate Soy
- 1/4 cup of olive or vegetable oil with a high smoke point
- 1 green onion
- 1 ginger (longer the length the better)

- Boil water in a steamer.
- While the water boils, thinly julienne ginger and green onion to the same length and thinness. These should be as long as the ginger allows possible; 2-3 inches in length is ideal.
- Once the water is boiled, steam the fillets for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat oil very high in a pan. Quickly fry the chopped green onion and ginger.
- Remove the fish and put on a serving platter. Drizzle the soy sauce over the whole fish.
- Take the pan and drizzle the hot oil, ginger and green onion over the fish: It should SIZZLE.
